cursor.execute fails under mxODBC

I just upgraded to the latest version of mxODBC. Calling execute on a 
cursor object is hosing python. This code worked perfectly under 1.5.1 
and version 1.1.1 of mxODBC.

Having trouble on both Win98 and Win2000.

I can stay on windows, so I'm gonna give ADO a try, but I'd still like 
to know what's going on.
