Interfacing to 1-Wire LAN, especially Dallas temperature sensors?

The DalSemi /Maxim i-Buttons have Java and C drivers. Maybe ActiveX too.

You could definately use Jython without breaking a sweat. For CPython, you
could probably interface with the C driver without much trouble.
