Paintshop Pro 8

You may already know this but the latest version of Paintshop Pro
(public beta available from www.jasc.com) supports scripting.

Guess what the scripting language is?

 :-)

This is interesting given that - for the moment at least - Paintshop
Pro only runs on Windows so a COM based 'any language' scripting
approach might have been more natural.

So why is this?

* Possible Linux/Mac versions in the pipelines?
* Don't like COM?
* Want to promote Python?

Anyone any insight?
