David's code was exactly what I was looking for.  I've changed the
print statements to write out to a .csv file, and everything works
great.

Thanks to all who replied, and thanks to David for the kind examples.

I'll be going through it again line by line as to gain an
understanding of how this was constructed.  I've seen it work, now I
want to see how it works.
