1. You could try advertising the position on this list. 
Anyone who uses Python in the UK will most likely be subscribed or 
know someone else who might be looking.
2. The Python Job Board at http://www.python.org/Jobs.html.
However, there sometimes seems to be a delay between when jobs 
get posted and when they finally appear on the page.
3. comp.lang.python. I've seen jobs posted there before.

And they're all free ;-)

I've tended to use internet job sites:
http://www.jobserve.com
http://www.reed.co.uk
http://www.cwjobs.co.uk
or similar.
