[python-win32] Automation object question

I have a scenario where a COM server spits out an automation object say
A.  This part works beautifully.  However, when the automation object
delivers ANOTHER automation object (B) B has no available attributes or
methods.

Do I have to route all automation objects through the initial server?
The source code is really simple btw and I'll post it if necessary.
