[PythonCE] open internet connection (GPRS)

Hello, I have a scrypt that send files to web server by FTP, this runs
very good, but everytime I want to send the files with the script,
previously I have to open the internet explorer to make me the internet
connection.
Exist any method wich connect to internet (GPRS) directly before I send
the files by FTP?
