I am perfectly happy with migrating Python 2.3 to Carbon only. 
Although I am a heavy user of Python 2.1 on OS8.1-8.6, I can easily 
live without the updates to the versions running on those older 
systems.  Most of the work is numerical (Numpy) stuff anyway, and so 
I really don't use many Python features beyond what was in 1.5/1.6. 
I only used a list comprehension for the first time a few days ago.
