[Pythonmac-SIG] Mach-O MacPython

Hey, Jack.

Having been busy over the holidays and thereafter I haven't looked at 
SourceForge for a while, but just before christmas (I think) I submitted 
a Patch which implements the beginning of what we were talking about 
doing as far as handling FSSpec/FSRefs on Mach-O Python, as well as 
patches to the IDE .py files using your suggested syntax hasattr(MacOS, 
'whatever'). I just looked in SourceForge and noticed the patch is still 
sitting there, unnoticed. Should I have sent mail at the same time I 
submitted the patch? I had assumed you would get some sort of automatic 
notification, since it is assigned to you. Anyway, the patch is there, 
and with that patch applied, I have had the MacPython IDE up and running 
in a Mach-O Python bundle for a few weeks now. It's cool!
