[Pythonmac-SIG] Additional binary packages for Python2.3 on 10.2.6

I've done another update to my Package Manager repository, which is at:
http://undefined.org/python/pimp/darwin-6.6-Power_Macintosh.plist
I've gotten a little less lazy and added a script to generate a html
summary of the repository's contents with instructions:
http://undefined.org/python/pimp/darwin-6.6-Power_Macintosh.html
Since there's a nice HTML version now, I'm just going to include deltas
this time:
New Packages:
tables 0.7.1 A hierarchical database for Python (
http://pytables.sf.net/ )
python-lzo 1.08 Python bindings for the LZO data compression library (
http://www.oberhumer.com/opensource/lzo/ )
numarray 0.7 An array processing package modelled after Numeric (
http://stsdas.stsci.edu/numarray/ )
TECManager 0.1 Pythonic wrapper for the Text->Unicode functionality of
Text Encoding Conversion Manager ( http://undefined.org/python/ )
IPython 0.5.0 An enhanced interactive Python shell. (
http://ipython.scipy.org )
bsddb 4.1.6 Python interface for BerkeleyDB 3.1 thru 4.1 (
http://pybsddb.sf.net/ )
piddle 1.0.15 Piddle:Plug In Drawing, Does Little Else. A
cross-platform drawing library ( http://piddle.sourceforge.net )
Updated Packages:
aeve 0.0.3 (was 0.0.2) Pythonic AppleEvent Support for Python (
http://undefined.org/python/ )
Pyro 3.3 (was 3.3beta) Powerful but easy-to-use distributed object
middleware for Python ( http://pyro.sourceforge.net/ )
I still (again) haven't gotten around to making any "Extras" packages
for anything.
I haven't made a lot of progress on SciPy (haven't tried since last
mention). I started to port rpy, but that is one ugly monster (it does
really awful things, especially the Quartz version:
http://www.economia.unimi.it/R/ ), it works, but stdout+stderr stop
working... Looks like I won't be able to use their precompiled
version. I started to dink around with reportlab, but it doesn't seem
to be putting its fonts in the right place (likely a quick distutils
fix).
This is my current relatively-interested-in-hacking-or-packaging list
in no particular order:
SciPy
chaco
rpy
reportlab
biggles
Gnuplot
python-ldap
pyogg
pyvorbis
VTK
Soya 3D
psyco (if the ppc-compatible written-in-C IVM has any benefit)
If anyone has any requests for modules that aren't yet covered by
myself or Jack, let me know and I'll look into it.
