pythonw is a shell script that has always shipped with framework builds
of Python 2.3.0 and later, just like a pythonw.exe has shipped with the
Windows version of Python for quite some time. There's nothing special
about it. The fact that it happens to use a "fake" application bundle
that lives in the deep dark depths of Python.framework is really just
an implementation detail.
