Of course, there are various API's that cause this effect and
appscript is not
the only user of those APIs.
To rephrase my question: can you start the daemon program without
being logged on to the console and check if it works at all (both with
and
without the LSUIElement being set)?
That's something I cannot test with appscript because that can't work
without being logged on to the console as it needs to access other
running
applications to work.
