[SciPy-Dev] What we do struggle with is lack of progress on big-ticket items

Thanks, Ilhan. I tried those instructions and left feedback at:
https://github.com/scipy/scipy/issues/7140

In summary, there were some snags (which I noted) but eventually scipy
reported building successfully. Definitely easier than some old Cygwin
instructions i tried about a year ago. The tests crashed, however,
reporting a segfault. : (
