I'm hoping that the autoconfigure script will take care of a lot of this (it
can setup OE, Eudora, Mozilla, Opera and Pocomail so far). What I'm not
sure about is how to figure out which mailer to set up, and when this should
be done (part of the install process? The first time
sb_server/pop3proxy_service/pop3proxy_tray is run on Windows?).
I should probably also either implement Richie's suggestion to have the
autoconfigure create a new account setup for spambayes, leaving their old
one alone (and create docs explaining this), or let autoconfigure also
un-configure, so that if something doesn't work, people can at least get
back to what they had before. I guess the un-configure could also be useful
for uninstalling spambayes, so maybe I'll do that.
I'll take another look at the readme some time this week and try and figure
out how it can be improved.

I could probably do that, too. :)

Sounds good to me.

One thing that sb_server does better than Outlook at the moment :) (Well,
cvs head, not in the 1.0 branch, and assuming that people manage to keep
their messageinfo db's noncorrupt).

Me, too <wink>. It's this Saturday (so no work this weekend, either :), and
my best man keeps mentioning that he has various surprises planned, so
hopefully they are the good type, and not the
wake-up-tied-to-a-cow-in-the-paddock type ;)

As I said, I'm gone for almost three weeks very soon, anyway, so there's not
much I can do either. Getting the new win32all out will be helpful for at
least two reasons: Thomas will then put out a new py2exe, which means I'll
be able to build test binaries myself, and I would like to use one of the
new menu functions with pop3proxy_tray (to set the default item).
