Do you connect to web pages via a proxy?  If so, do you use an
auto-configuration script (this information is in the Internet Explorer
options, if that's the browser you use).

There are problems with connecting via an autoconfigure script, although via
a straight proxy should work.  There's an open bug report about this (see
<http://sf.net/projects/spambayes>) which talks about possible solutions
(it's a difficult task).
