I suppose.  The openid is a login id, so I just assumed that the correct place to put it was in the userid box.  That assumption is so strongly embedded in my brain that I didn't understand that your message was asking to make it clear that this worked; I thought you were saying that it didn't work :)  Clearly, however, it isn't a universally intuitive interface.

Do you have a suggestion for how to improve the interface so that this is clearer?
