  It happened to be in the tree as of 16 May 2000, which was the last
day any PythonLabs people were CNRI employees.  Nothing sinister, but
removing it could too easily turn into more delay, as CNRI would
question the removal.  (Well, not *everyone* at CNRI, I'm sure, but
certain people.)
