State of PewPew for 2019-08-23 ****************************** News ==== * There will be PewPews at the upcoming Creative Coding ZH meetup in Zürich. https://twitter.com/isziaui/status/1175706349998661633 * Christian Walther has the first version of his PicoPew shield assembled and it works! https://hackaday.io/project/167369-picopew * PewPew devices were used at a recent quantum computing hackaton, and there are at least two new games that teach quantum computing concepts: https://github.com/qiskit-community/qiskit-camp-europe-19/issues/4 https://github.com/qiskit-community/qiskit-camp-europe-19/issues/62 https://github.com/oscarhiggott/pewpew-qube * Some PewPews were spotted at PyCon.JP. * The workshops at Flick The World festival in Zürich had a slow start, but in the end more than 20 PewPews got assembled and programmed by the participants. * CircuitPython 5.0.0-alpha.4 has been released. You can get it at https://circuitpython.org/downloads and help testing. * Work continues on PewPew M4, we are at 6th prototype, and currently figuring out the button caps. -- Radomir Dopieralski
