Fund the use of Meetup.com for organizing and managing Python Benin for one year period. Meetup.com helps to increase the visibility of the user group, as well as boost attendance through automated reminders, RSVP functionality, and other tools. It also makes organizing and promoting the group easier, as well as providing a platform to garner sponsorships and thank sponsors publicly. Grant Amount: $650 total ($550 for all our meetups of the year and $100 which is the cost of 12 months to organize a group on Meetup.com ). To thank you for your sponsorship, we will place the PSF logo. Beneficiaries: We are expecting 50 attendees on each meetup. Meetup beneficiaries are students and professionals who will derive some benefit from the implementation of the meetup. Follow-up activities: We will post a summary of First Python Benin Meetup on our blog and mention that the PSF sponsored the event.
