[Inpycon] Pycon India 2018

Hi All,
        I want to give you all an update on progress we have made so far in
Pycon India 2018.

   - Ticket Sales have started and sold out on early bird; student &
   regular tickets are selling very fast .
   - CFP
      - Received more than 130+ proposal and continues.
      - 1st July is the deadline for submitting CFPs, please spread the
      word.
      - Initiated Mentors for CFP.
   - Sponsor
      - We have got 3 Platinum, 4 Gold & 2 Silver sponsors confirmed.
   - Social
      - Increased followers & traffic to website are high
   - Logistics
      - Travel & accomadation of speakers & guests [In progress]
      - T-shirts Design, Banner, printing etc [yet to start]
      - Video capture, AV equipment [Yet to start]
   - Finance
      - PSSI is closing from 7th Jul and will No longer be able to support
      finance management for Pycon. For more details on the reason, please
      reach out to PSSI board members.
      - Alternative finance management options are being looked at the
      moment.
      - Options
         - Work with another Legal Entity - NGO/Company etc.
         - Form another Legal Entity and subsequently allow it to manage
         funds.

Organzing Pycon India continues to be challenge however I assure you that
the 10th year event of Pycon India will happen and HydPy team will make
sure it's a grand success.
