Marc, HTML works great as a display language, but it is a pain to try
to read.

Did you run the newaliases command to rebuild your aliases.db? If you did,
what error message did it give you?

<P>Thanks for the response.&nbsp; I could see, after reading the directions better than I should have the first time that I should have put that in the /etc/aliases

<DIV></DIV>&gt;It should look something like this:
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;listname: "|/home/mailman/mail/wrapper post listname"
<DIV></DIV>&gt;listname-admin: "|/home/mailman/mail/wrapper mailowner listname"

<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; Just want to make sure you are referring to adding the following lines in /etc/aliases:
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; mailman: my e-mail address
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; mailman-owner: mailman
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; I also previously went in and manually made an alias for the list name in this file hoping that would work; to no
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; avail.&nbsp; I have run "newaliases" a couple of times just to make sure.

<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; &gt;I think your aliases are not working. If you are using sendmail (default
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; &gt;for Red Hat 7.1) you should have mailman entries in /etc/aliases and then
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; &gt;you should have run the command newaliases as root.
