[Mailman-Users] Footer error tracebacks

I'm pretty new to Mailman, but have about half a dozen lists running.
I'm not actually the admin on all of them though; just the site admin.
Anyway, I keep getting this message in my logs/errors:
Mar 06 23:09:28 2001 (18944) Delivery exception: illegal argument type for built-in operation
Mar 06 23:09:28 2001 (18944) Traceback (innermost last):
File "/home/mailman/Mailman/Handlers/HandlerAPI.py", line 82, in do_pipeline
func(mlist, msg, msgdata)
File "/home/mailman/Mailman/Handlers/Decorate.py", line 44, in process
footer = string.replace(mlist.msg_footer % d, '\r\n', '\n')
TypeError: illegal argument type for built-in operation
I've manually gone through all the lists looking at the footers. They
all _look_ ok to me. Basically, my criteria for looking right is that
all the '%'s are followed by '(foo)s'. I don't know python really at
all, so don't really grok the Decorate.py. I did a little rooting
around and the offending line 44 seems OK. Any suggestions?
