[Mailman-Users] compiling & installing Mailman2.1b

Near the end of the "make install" on a RH 7.2 system, I get the error message from the bin/update:

"Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "bin/update", line 44, in ?
    import paths
ImportError: No module named paths
make: *** [update] Error 1"

What are the recommended solutions to this error?
