[Mailman-Users] bounce message issues

I am hoping that someone can help me out here. I am running version 2.0.8 of Mailman and just discovered that bounce messages are not getting processed. Basically, a group of people from a company that is no longer alive were in my maillist. Sending an email thru standard email bounces undeliverable. However, in Mailman, I understand these accounts are supposed to be moved to nomail status. There in lays the problem, they are staying as is. 
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
