If these are in the mail queue then this is not a Mailman question, but
a question relating to your MTA. In this case it looks like you are
using exim, and the information on the format of the spool files can be
found at
http://www.exim.org/exim-html-4.20/doc/html/spec_48.html#CHAP48
The short answer is that the list of addresses you see is the list of
addresses *not* to be delivered to (this may mean they have already been
delivered to), and the Y/N encoding shows how they are arranged in the
balanced binary tree data structure.
