[Mailman-Users] Password in URL?

I tried to find an answer to my question by joining your "Listowners" list
but when I click on the link in
http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/lists.html, I get a page not found so I
was unable to join the list, so here is my question"

When going to the administration page for a list, is it possible to put a
password in the URL rather than typing it into a dialog box?

I have tried
http://MyDomain.com/mailman/admin/ListName_MyDomain.com?MyPassword

I think this used to work in earlier versions (not sure) but it does not
work now.

What is the correct syntax?
