If you are using Mailman 2.1.x, I would expect 9 (or more :-).

If you do 'ps ax | fgrep mailman' I expect you will see that there is 
the master queue running process, plus one for each of the queue 
runners that you have you specified in your mm_cfg.py (or more likely, 
picked up from the default setting in Defaults.py).
