If you have shell access to your machine, you can test like (as mailman 
user):
% withlist listname
Loading list listname (unlocked)
The variable `m' is the listname MailList instance
 >>> m.host_name
'example.com'
 >>> m.GetBaseArchiveURL()
'http://www.example.com/pipermail/listname/'
