Read the documentation.  Search the FAQ Wizard.  Start with FAQs 1.26 
and the related FAQ entries which are cross-linked.  The search the 
archives of this list, in accordance with FAQ 1.18.

When you're done with that, read FAQs 1.22 and 1.23.
