The default value for new lists is

DEFAULT_MAX_DAYS_TO_HOLD

All such settings are documented in the Defaults.py file.

Changing this and similar settings in mm_cfg.py does not affect
existing lists. For that see the FAQ at <http://wiki.list.org/x/MIBp>.
