Someone said this today, but something seems to have happened to 
it:

> a closure is code with data attached

Correct. But a closure declares implicitly, on the spot. That's why you 
don't have to interrupt your own flow to orchestrate one from scratch, as 
an object, the way you would in Python or (gods help us) C++.
