Hi all,
I'd really like to write a few "services" for OS X with Python
as the primary implementation language, but I'm not sure this
is already possible? Maybe someone could drop a few lines only,
saying if it is or when to expect it?
For those unfamiliar with these "services": it's a concept in-
troduced in NeXTSTEP, that lets you write (usually little) apps
that are available in the Finder->Services menu of any applica-
tion you use, depending on the selected item.
An example: you could write a rot-13 function in Python and use
it on any piece of text you select in any editor you like to re-
place it with its rotated version. The same holds in principle
for other data types as well, like, say, files...
Regards,
Dinu
