[Tutor] Python IDE

Try Komodo Edit from ActiveState.  It's free (as in beer), it's 
cross-platform, and it's pretty darn good.  I haven't used it on Linux 
myself, but it does have a Linux download.

If being closed-source bothers you, Eclipse+PyDev might be your best option.
