fft benchmarks, chunked and buffered

Hi Pearu, I went back to the basic rearanged radix 2 fft and started fooling around with data chunking and buffering. As a side benifit, the basic routines are now strided, so multidimensional transforms should be easy. The cache worked a bit differently than I thought, and I still don't understand it. I think I'll put it aside for a bit and do some thinking. Chuck

This has probably been discussed before, but I'm getting more spam from the scipy lists than from any other source. Isn't it possible to have subscribers that don't receive any emails? Or one subscription with added accepted email addresses? bye, Kasper

Hi all, I have installed two different versions of python on my computer (/usr/local/bin/; /usr/bin/python).
