Someone might wonder why a2b_hex() and a2b_qp() actually accept text strings in Python 3.1 when the documentation says you need 3.3, but I guess that’s not such a big deal. [...] .. versionchanged:: 3.3 ASCII-only unicode strings are now accepted by the ``a2b_*`` functions.
