Hello! It's a great tool you built there! I'd like to use it for some kind of topology optimisation. Is there an "idiomatic" way to set the material parameters of individual nodes? Thank you very much! JonnyB

In examples/large_deformation/hyperelastic.py a rotation by displacements is applied. By using a similar function the vectors defining the force couples could be defined for dw_surface_ltr (IMHO). new interactive example with time stepping

Hi, I have just updated the time stepping solvers in sfepy for interactive use, as demonstrated in the new example [1]. For basic use, ignore the probing code - the time stepper can be used as simply as: tss = SimpleTimeSteppingSolver({'t0' : 0.0, 't1' : 100.0, 'n_step' : 11}, problem=problem) tss.init_time() for step, time, state in tss(): pass r. 1D line elements in SfePy

I am currrently looking for FEM packages to help me solve a system of beams and columns, basically a collection of 1D bernoulli/timoshenko line elements. I started reading SfePy docs and i am getting the idea that doing the above is not really possible here, am i right? Are only 2D area elements permitted in SfePy? Or is there any direct support for solving 1D line elements too.. Cheers Nimish

how to display "cylinder.h5", the result of material_nonlinearity.py

Hi, Could you please tell me how to display "cylinder.h5", the result of material_nonlinearity.py? Usually, the result file is vtk. But the result of material_nonlinearity.py seems only h5. The OS I use is Lubuntu15.04-64bit on VM Ware player. Best regards, Takuo Fujita

coexistence between mayavi2 and paraview

Hi, Is it possible coexistence between mayavi2 and paraview? I installed paraview after installation of sfepy. mayavi2 was deleted automatically. ./postproc.py does not work due to it. Thank you. Takuo Fujita

navier_stokes2d_iga.py failed

Hi, I installed sfepy 2015.2 on ubuntu 14.04 lts, and ran the tests. The only one that failed was the one mentioned on the subject.
