I installed Python (2.2.1) from the port. [Twisted-Python] DelayedCall enhancements

Here's a patch that adds two particularly useful methods to the IDelayedCall interface and implementation. It's quite possible to do it currently, but it's a kludge. Essentially what I added were methods to delay a DelayedCall by a configurable amount of time, and to reset a DelayedCall to happen a configurable amount of time from now. I also added a test case for each, and they pass. [Twisted-Python] SNMP support

Hi again, I needed SNMP (client) support for something I'm writing, and managed to hack my way to something that seems to work this aftenoon, based loosely on the DNS Boss system that was in 1.0.0. It uses the pure-python pysnmp (http://pysnmp.sourceforge.net/) for message encoding/decoding. I don't know whether this is the best way to organise this sort of thing, but it seemed to be about the only way to handle UDP effectively. I have no idea if I should be relying on transport.getHost() to return the same value at send time and receive time, and different from every other queries. There doesn't seem to be a way to request an ID for the SNMP request, but that may just be me not knowing how things work. Anyway, I'd like to know how people would like this reworked, especially if they can tell me how to think about it in a more twisted and/or pythonic way. I'm thinking of making some pretty substantial changes to the way that Twisted deals with Sessions, as part of re-writing twisted.web.guard to work with Woven. Internally there are very few places where it's called (mostly in twisted.web.guard, which is exactly what I'm looking to get rid of ...) and it is a very naive, error-prone implementation. [Twisted-Python] Letting me (or the list) know about stuff

Dear Twisted Developers, As you may know, I am the Debian maintainer of Twisted. As you may also know, the debian packages get built during the normal Twisted build. Because of that, it often turns out that when the Debian packages Twisted development machines use internally built, I am not present physically. In fact, much work has been done to automate this process. However, sometimes the Debian side of things needs to be managed. For example, new conch scripts must be moved to the twisted-conch package, so I need to know when new conch scripts get uploaded. Similarily, if Twisted gains the ability to use a new external Python module, I need to know about that to properly indicate that in the control package. Because of that, I request that whenever you make a change like adding new scripts or adding new toplevel package, or anything major, please drop either the list or me personally an e-mail about this so I can respond to it in time. Please *do not* take this to mean you should fiddle in the debian/ dir: what you should do is *send e-mail* to *me or the list*.
