[Twisted-Python] Simple components question - IFoo(IBar(obj)) wont' work, what am I doing wrong?

Hi, I've hit a problem with compy, but it seems it's the same for Twisted Components. What am I doing wrong here? [Twisted-Python] question about RSS + dynamic content...

I am interestested in using Nevow as a templating alternative to ZPT. I am having difficulty triggering the nevow intepreter with very similar language as was included in the pycon 2004 PDF. If anyone could provide an example of rendering an RSS feed into a slot that is defined in an html tmeplate it would be very helpful indeed. It could seems to be an 'idiot' question but my problem is quite simple: How do I get / deal with extra parameters (not handled by twistd) from the command line launching my app example: twistd -noy my_first_twist_test.py --misc=i_wanna_get_this Thanks in advance, JC

There are a couple of implementations newcred with enterprise in the tracker already. I need to get one ready for inclusion. [Twisted-Python] Refactoring of trial - call for feature requests and suggestions

I am undertaking the refactoring of trial and i'm looking for suggestions as to what features people think trial lacks, what they'd like it to do that it never did, and so on. So far, I have received the following improvements/feature requests on #twisted: - Support test methods returning deferreds rather than needing to explicitly block for results - Better reactor cleaning - A component-oriented approach to allow for easier extension and customization of the test running/reporting process - Improved error reporting (allow for the reporter to report more than a one traceback) - (possibly) Add additional function attribute tags to allow for more expressive explanation of test failures. I had two suggestions, a "broken" attribute would be used to indicate that a failure did not indicate an error in the code being tested, the other would be a "known_issue" that would indicate a test failure is not a regression, rather is a new test that tests for a known issue, and therefore it should be noted and fixed, but isn't a show-stopper (so to speak) I'd be interested to hear your suggestions and comments and such. -Jonathan

[Twisted-Python] Apache twisted integration

I want to put an apache server in from of the twisted server. Whenever apache receives a request, it dispatches it to the twisted. twisted then servers the request through apache. Can anyone help me to do this? Faisal Abdullah Shibley

You can use runInteraction to get at the cursor directly (see the example I just posted for another message).
