hi there, folks: I'd really like to release 0.7.0 but I would like it to be at least a little bit tested before I do so. Could those of you with CVS trees check everything out and see if it performs as advertised? Deeper bugs than that will have to wait for the next release, but I'd at least like to know if it works for someone other than me. [Twisted-Python] regarding xml elements

Hi, I have an xml file in my application, I have created an element using Example goes like this......... document.createElement("abc") and i appeneded it by using append() method. But how i can reflect this change to my xml file? and one more thing is i want to create element with some other parameters.... like............. <abc m=" " n=" "> </abc> and i have m and n values as strings with me. can anybody help me to create this element and write it to the existing xml file as a child of an existing element? The previous thread was getting a little long, so I thought I'd start a new one... I haven't made as much headway on this as I would have liked, but I'm just going to blame the US Thanksgiving holiday and hope no one looks too closely at the dates of the previous emails. ;) Here's what I've done lately: - The proposal [1] has been updated, with a number of minor spelling formatting fixes, and a detailed timeline for each phase of the project. Please give feedback if you see anything missing from the timelines, anything you think should be done in a different order, or any other unaddressed issues. - I've done a small amount of work on the lore2sphinx tool, and the new output of the conversion process is now online [2]. Not a lot changes, the only obviosu thing is that <img> tags are now handled. The rest has been mostly refactoring and generally making the code easier to work with. - I also did a bit of digging around in the Divmod SVN repository, and it looks like Nevow, Mantissa, and Epsilon are the only projects that have Lore source docs. Can anyone out there verify that this is correct? Did I miss anything? I'll try to send out a progress report like this every week or so in order to avoid people thinking that I've lost interest or gotten hit by a bus. Thanks for "listening"! [Twisted-Python] is there way to baypass value limit of 64kb in twisted.protocols.amp

Hello! I'm currently trying to figure out, how to bypass amp value limit of 64kb. First tought was to split string into chunks <64kb, then join before processing. Problem is, how to dinamicaly generate amp.Command argument list. Maybe there is other well known method how to achieve this? Thank You!

Hello! Currently I'm trying to write small xmlrpc server for html data processing. Processing is done by html tidy lib, but the problem is that it has massive memory leak. As processing is blocking operation I'm running it in thread, but after some time and huge html document processing daemon eats all memory. I wondering if its possible to load utidylib in thread, do processing and after this kill thread and release memory? Or maybe something like deferToProcess? I am implementing a protocol where a DatagramProtocol "handshaking" subclass get an arbitrary port (by calling "self.udpPort = reactor.listenUDP(0, self)") and communicate it to a remote host. Once this is done, I would like to "switch" to another DatagramProtocol which would use the same port. To avoid a race condition, I would like to "transfert" self.transport from the first DatagramProtocol to the second without calling self.udpPort.stopListening(). Is this the "twisted" way to analyse this? Or should I use some kind of "proxy" DatagramProtocol which would relay datagramReceived calls to the proper DatagramProtocol, depending on the current protocol state (handshaking or data exchange)?
