Berliner PUB-/DZUG-Treffen am 17.9. um 19 h im newthinking store

Liebe Python-Freunde, diesen Donnerstag, den 17.8.2009 (übermorgen!) findet wieder ein PUB/DZUG-Treffen (Python und Zope User Group in Berlin) statt. Ort und Zeit sind wie immer: 19 Uhr, im newthinking store [1]. Anschließend wird das Treffen wieder im Restaurant Tucholsky [2] fortgesetzt. Zur Planung der Restaurantkapazitäten bitte ich euch ein Häckchen in der Doodle-Umfrage [3] zu machen, wenn ihr an- schließend noch mitkommen wollt. Das Programm muss dieses mal etwas kurzfristig arrangiert werden. Wer also schon immer mal einen kurzen Vortrag halten wollte, z.B. zu einem der Themen im Python-Wiki [4] und diesen womöglich schon in der Schublade hat, der (oder die) ist herzlich dazu eingeladen. Dann bitte bei mir vorher kurz per E-Mail ankündigen! Ansonsten werden einige, die auf der DZUG-Tagung letzte Woche in München waren, locker darüber berichten. Dabei ging es unter an- derem über die kommenden Versionen 4 und 5 von Plone. Sehr wahr- scheinlich wird Veit dazu Prospekte verteilen. Eine weitere Idee besteht darin, locker Buchempfehlungen zu den Themen Python/Zope/Plone auszutauschen, was man am besten macht, indem man das jeweilige Buch auch zum Treffen mitnimmt. Ich werde am Donnerstag das Buch "Python for Linux and Unix System Admini- stration" [5] dabei haben. I am using chaquopy in a project that consider audio recognition. You can easily install and import some libraries and write your code entirely in python, in java, or mix both. My code uses numpy, scipy and sklearn and the app include them automatically just using pip install ... However, some libraries are still not compatible, particularly those that demand additional compilation (C++). My opinion is that chaquopy shows great potential, mostly for whom has little experience with java-android. From Unittest (lib) to pytest without problems?

**Task** I have to change some of my tests from unittest (library) to Pytest, unfortunately I have to do with my scope of test I'm here to consider that I can not take over all the function so. With a research to come and I just can not get on. My setup refers to test cases that test switch functionalities on a CLI basis. 1. Log on to the switch with SSH and Pyserial 2. Running querys on the prompt environment 3. After completion of the test, the test process should be written in a text file **Ask:** 5. Can I use the source I currently use so synonymous with Pytest? 6. What do I have to rebuild so that I can continue to use the core components (see above)? 7. Ich glaube durch den Gedanken das get den schlüssel plus den ersten wert aus der Liste brauche, habe ich die Klammern flasch gesetzt. Das mit dem Fehlwert, sollte dann ein neuer Eintrag ins dict werden, das werde ich aber wohl hinbekommen. Danke nochmal, auch wenn ich mein Beispiel etwas kompliziert formuliert hatte. Ein Problem mit Dictionarie, oder das Schlüssel werte problem

Hallo Liste, ich will zur Laufzeit meines Programms ein dict erstellen mit einem Schlüssel und zwei werten. Der eine wert soll je nach anforderung erhöht werden, also als Counter fungieren. Der zweite wert soll erstmal nicht geändert werden wenn er erstellt wurde. Ich würde nun den Counter mit der get() Methode erhöhen und da liegt mein Problem begraben. Diese sollte aber so nicht sein. (2) führt zu einem TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for +: 'NoneType' and 'int' ist diese Art mit get() umzugehen falsch oder nicht möglich wenn zwei werte für einen key da sind? Die alternative die ich fand ist die Methode has_key(), diese liefert mir jedoch den fehler das dict has_key() nicht kennt. Gehörte wohl zu Python 2.7 Gruß Manfred -- Letzte Worte von U. Unit Test für Router / Switch Umgebung auf Basis von CLI Befehlen

In meinem Test soll eine Funktion auf einem Router / Switch über CLI ausgeführt werden. Die Funktion spreche ich per CLI als Abfrage, und die Funktion macht genau das, was sie soll. Problem jetzt, der Unit Test dazu. Ausgabe sollte sein a.) Verbinden mit SSH - Funktioniert / funktioniert nicht b.) Prompt öffnet sich - Funktionier / funktioniert nicht c.) Befehl (AAA Accounting) wird ausgeführt - funktioniert / funktioniert nicht d.) Befehl Accounting deaktiviert ist aufgeführt --- Works / funktioniert nicht e.) Nun sollte der Test natürlich eine Ausgabe entsprechend machen. Ich habe mir einige Beispiele angeschaut, komme aber einfach nicht weiter. Ich habe Pythomn 3.7 mit den Paketen Paramiko benutzt Ich wäre sehr zufrieden wenn man jemand überhaupt erstmal helfen könnte. Das ist die Funktion (ein Teil!) Die ich bisher umgesetzt habe. Python beginner: Create Unitest out of SSH Session / Router CLI

In my test, a function on a router / switch to be executed via CLI. The function I speak via CLI as a query, and the function does exactly what it should. Problem now, the unit test, how do I build this? Output should be a.) Connect to SSH - Works / does not work b.) prompt opens - Works / does not work c.) Command (AAA Accounting) is executed - Works / does not work d.) command accounting disable is listed --- Works / does not work e.) Now, of course, the test should make an output accordingly. I had looked at some examples but just can not get on. I used Pythomn 3.7 with the packages Paramiko I am happy to answer any questions, and would be very happy if one or the other could answer accordingly. This is the function (a part !) I have implemented so far. Python mit GTK unter Windows

Hallo, ich habe hier einen alte Anwendung die wurde vor Jahren mit pygtk entwickelt. Da scheint es seit sieben Jahren kein Update mehr zu geben: https://pypi.org/project/PyGTK/#history Jetzt bin ich etwas überfragt, wie nun der aktuell übliche Weg ist. Anforderungen: - Python - gtk - MS-Windows - Installation am Ende per MSI Anscheinend ist ist das Entwickeln einer native GUI inzwischen so unüblich geworden, dass es hier auch wenig Infos gibt, wie nun der aktuelle Weg ist. Hat hier jemand Erfahrung oder Hinweise? Das Erstellen der MSI-Datei ist vermutlich kein großes Problem. Das geht mit bdist_msi per cx_freeze. Die Frage ist eher wie man an die GTK-Anbindung unter Windows kommt.
