Web Mail Agents Generate "Suspicious Headers"?

I have a project at SourceForge where Mailman is used for its mailing list. It seems that posts to the list from SquirrelMail or IMP get blocked. Mailman at SourceForge says they have "suspicious headers". I cannot see any way to get mailman to tell me what the suspicious header is, or how to say that is is OK. Any ideas? Thanks. How to handle single quote in subscriber email address

cron logs the following error message from qrunner when attempting to send the subscription confirmation message to a user that has a single in their address (i.e. "john.o'reilly(a)domain.com"). sh: -c: line 1: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `'' sh: -c: line 2: syntax error: unexpected end of file How do I get Mailman to handle addresses that contain a single quote? My configuration: RedHat 7.2, Apache 1.3.23, Python 1.5.2, Sendmail 8.11.6, Mailman 2.0.11 -Cassandra

Did you ever get a solution figured out for you? The simplest of solutions is to stop cron, or at least to comment out qrunner in the cron for the user mailman (if you are running 2.0.x version - as I am... otherwise simply turn off the mailman deamon...). Then go in and edit your Archive Mbox files. Even if it takes you half a day to edit the darn things, you won't be getting any new messages added to the Mboxes since Mailman is not running. Once you've got the Mboxes pared down to a managable level, delete the old HTML archive files and regenerate them with the ~mailman/bin/arch command as detailed below. If you need more help, let me know and I'll try to generalize one of my scripts for your use (also let me know what version of MM you are using!) I am currently running Redhat 7.2 and mailman2.0.8 was working perfectly for me. Then out of the blue I get these errors that I am not sure of. I have double and triple checked the configuration. Please help me if you can. Virtual Hosting puzzle

Hi all, I've been looking through the archive and read the two FAQ's (one on list.org, the other one on python.org amd I have a question: I'm trying to setup a virtual hosting mailman site, but im running into the following issue: 1) VIRTUAL_HOST_OVERVIEW is on, and im running mailman from the ports tree, version 2.0.10 2) The FAQ says i need to create a unique listname on the 'default' host, which I do using the newlist command. Lets say the name is 'foobar-vhostdotcom'. Next, I change the weburl and mail domain to vhostdotcom. This will make the list show up in the listinfo of the mailman interface on vhostdotcom. Yay! 3) When I try to change the name to 'foobar' (since I no longer need the vhostdotcom in its name) the interface denies me. This means the list is still only accessible using 'http://vhostdotcom/mailman/listinfo/foobar-vhostdotcom .. which seems a bit redundant ;) 4) Also, when I am at the vhostdotcom listinfo page, and click to the 'list admin overview' page, I will see all lists, both on vhostdotcom and the default host. Why ? I really dont need all people on vhostdotcom to know the existance of all lists ;-) Could someone please give me a hint ?
